I've been in
business for 43 years in a wide variety of businesses.
Growing up in a
family that owned and operated five restaurants, I
learned the background knowledge needed to run various
types of business.
I began my
career as a wholesale jobber on Washington Avenue where
I sold everything from shoes, clothing, and hats, to
general merchandise, gift items and furniture.
Following my
education and twelve year military service, I owned and
operated Midwest Wholesale, St. Louis Wholesale
Liquidation and Ronko Wholesale stores for 30 years.
When Tom Holly sold Grandpa's to Value City, I closed
the wholesale business and opened up a furniture store
at Northwest Plaza in Bridgeton Missouri. Three
years later, I saw a better opportunity, moved to the
St. Louis Mills and followed that with our current store
at Jamestown Mall.
My wife Robyn
and our five children help with the day to day
operations of Room To Room Furniture. We are a
true family business where everyone can sell, the older
boys handle delivery and setup while the younger two
setup displays.
